Palestine calls on Arab nations to cut ties with embassy-movers

Diplomat and member of the Palestinian Parliament, Saeb Erekat, has called on Arab nations to sever ties with countries that move their embassies in Israel to Jerusalem.

He said Palestine has been in contact with several allies to advance with the necessary diplomatic steps against the recent moving of embassies of Paraguay, Guatemala and the United States, to Jerusalem.

He called on the countries to abide by the Arab League's resolutions which called upon member states to withdraw their diplomatic missions from Jerusalem.

Arab nations have threatened on several occasions to server diplomatic ties with any country that recognizes Jerusalem as Israel's capital or move its diplomatic mission to the city.
