Party Chief Meets Vietnamese Community in Indonesia

Jakarta: Party General Secretary To Lam visited the Vietnamese Embassy and met with the staff of representative agencies and the Vietnamese community in Indonesia on March 9, as part of his ongoing trip to the country. Ambassador T? Van Thong briefed the Party leader on the embassy's work, the Vietnam-Indonesia relations, and affairs related to the Vietnamese community in the host country.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit served as an opportunity for Party General Secretary To Lam to engage directly with the Vietnamese expatriates and understand their experiences and challenges in Indonesia. The meeting emphasized the importance of strengthening the relationship between Vietnam and Indonesia, while also ensuring the welfare of the Vietnamese community residing in the host country.

The discussions at the embassy highlighted the collaborative efforts and ongoing initiatives between the two nations, aiming to bolster diplomatic and community ties.
