Party Leader Attends Concert Marking 70 Years of Vietnam – Indonesia Diplomatic Ties

Jakarta: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee To Lam and his spouse, Ngo Phuong Ly, attended a concert held in Jakarta on March 9 evening to celebrate the 70th founding anniversary of the Vietnam - Indonesia diplomatic ties, part of his state visit to Indonesia and official visit to the ASEAN Secretariat there. The event also saw the presence of Speaker of the House of Regional Representatives of Indonesia Sultan Bachtiar Najamudin and his spouse, Rose Rudy.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the concert was a significant cultural exchange aimed at strengthening the longstanding relationship between Vietnam and Indonesia. The event highlighted the historical and diplomatic ties that have been nurtured over the past seven decades, showcasing performances that reflected the rich cultural heritage of both nations.

The presence of high-ranking officials from both countries underscored the importance of the occasion. To Lam's visit signifies a commitment to furthering cooperation not only between Vietnam and Indonesia but also within the broader ASEAN community.
