Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong said the 13th National Party Congress presented the Party’s prestige, national vision and aspiration, people’s confidence, and special meaning in national development and reform.
Mr. Trong made the statement in an interview granted to the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) on the occasion of the New Year 2022.
He emphasized that Party building and rectification work is an important requirement closely associated with the development of the Party and the nation.
He said the National Party Congress identified orientations and goals for national development in the next 5 to 10 years, toward 2045 – the 100th anniversary of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Studying and implementing Resolutions of the 13th National Party Congress are very important tasks that must be carried out seriously, drastically and methodically, said Mr. Trong.
Every carder and Party member, first of all those holding leading and managerial posts at all levels, should be a role model, uphold the sense of responsibility, and create a high consensus in the implementation of the Resolution, towards the goal of building a more powerful and prosperous nation and happier people.
