Party official: Vietnam commits stronger ties with Russia

Politburo member and head of the Party Central Committee's Inspection Commission Tran Quoc Vuong has affirmed Vietnam's commitment to foster ties with Russia.

Vuong had working session on Wednesday with Deputy Chairwoman of Russian State Duma Irina Yarovaya as part of his visit to Russia this week. Both sides stressed the need to enhance supervision of the two government deals' implementation, including a free trade agreement between Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Union.

Vuong also met Veronica Krasheninnikova, Director General of the United Russia Party and General Director of the Institute of Foreign Policy Studies. Both sides agreed to increase sharing leadership and management experience, boost exchanges between the two parties' mass organizations, and promote trade between the two nations' localities through Party channel.
