Photo exhibition marks 130th birth anniversary of President Ton Duc Thang
A photo exhibition entitled President Ton Duc Thang, an outstanding son of the Vietnamese nation opened in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday to mark the 130th birthday of the late President.
270 photos are on display on Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street, featuring his revolutionary career: participating in the strike of workers at Ba Son factory in 1912, raising the red flag of the Russian October Revolution on a foreign ship, and joining workers' movements to build and protect Vietnam. The display also highlights Ton Duc Thang as a senior leader of Vietnam.
Other displays in the Labor Palace and on Dong Khoi Road portray President Ton Duc Thang as one of the leaders of the Vietnamese workers' movement and a symbol of national unity.
