FLC Group on Saturday started construction on a 440 million USD eco-resort tourism complex, FLC Phu Tho, in the northern province of Phu Tho.

Covering an area of nearly 250 hectares, the project will have a five-star hotel, an 18-hole golf course, a resort and an international convention centre.

FLC Group expects to make the project the leading resort in the North, said group chairman Trinh Van Quyet.

FLC Phu Tho  is the first eco-resort and golf course complex in the province.
