PM arrives in Tokyo, beginning official visit to Japan

 Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh arrived at Haneda airport in Tokyo on Monday evening, starting his official visit to Japan. During his visit until Thursday, PM Chinh will hold talks with his Japanese counterpart Kishida Fumio and meet high-ranking leaders of Japan.

Topics for discussion will include cooperation in economics, healthcare, COVID-19 vaccines and drugs, and security, among other issues.

He is scheduled to address an investment promotion conference in Japan and witness the signing of cooperation agreements between Vietnamese and Japanese businesses.

PM Chinh will have a dialogue with leaders of the Japan Business Federation and receive leaders of major Japanese firms.

He will also meet representatives of the Vietnamese community in Japan.
