PM praises People’s Army newspaper’s contributions to national achievements

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc paid a working visit to the People's Army newspaper on Friday on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22).

Talking to leaders, reporters, and editors of the newspaper, PM Phuc reiterated that the people's trust in the Party, the country, and Army has become stronger. He praised the officers and soldiers' contributions to national achievements and the People's Army newspaper's contributions to the development of Vietnam and the army. The Prime Minister said the newspaper's board of editors has applied information technology in producing multimedia stories and preserved its glorious tradition. He said:The People's Army newspaper is a reliable information channel, consolidating the people's trust in the Party, State, and Army and the trust of officers and soldiers in the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense. You are friends of soldiers, cadres, and people. I applaud journalists who have written sharp, attractive, and persuasive articles to denounce hostile forces and opportunists for sabotaging the Party, State, and Army.

PM Phuc stressed the People's Army newspaper's task of disseminating information on Vietnam's renewal and educating the heroic tradition of the Vietnam People's Army, contributing to building a regular, elite, and modern army.
