PM receives leaders from associations, corporations in Netherlands

PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc on July 9 met with Austrian Chairman of the Management Board at Vamed Ernst Wastler, and leaders of the European Association for Behavior Analysis (EABA) and the Dutch Business Association Viet Nam (DBAV).

At the meeting with the Austrian Chairman of the Management Board at Vamed, PM Phuc thanked Vamed's support for Viet Nam's public health system over the past 20 years, especially the effective disbursement of preferential Official Development Assistance (ODA) loans of the Austrian Government to realize Viet Nam's sustainable development target goals.

He suggested Vamed cooperate and support Viet Nam's health sector to launch new projects in the future.

Mr. Ernst Wastler affirmed that Vamed will coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to seek for more support and suitable equipment for Viet Nam.

During his working session with the leaders from EABA, the Vietnamese PM highly praised the role of the EABA in connecting the two sides' businesses, especially in consulting and helping the European enterprises launch investment in Southeast Asia.

The economic cooperation between Viet Nam and the EU and the Netherlands is huge, he asserted.

The Vietnamese Government creates favorable conditions for the EU's businesses to invest in Viet Nam in such areas as infrastructure, auxiliary industry, high technology, climate adaption, renewable energy and environment.

He proposed the EABA encourage more enterprises from the EU to enhance investment in Viet Nam and get access to the Asia-Pacific region when the Viet Nam-EU Free Trade Agreement comes into effect.

The leaders of the EABA announced that the association is connecting with more corporations in finance, logistics, agriculture, petrol ad health for further cooperation with Viet Nam.

At the reception for leaders of the DBAV, PM Phuc valued active contribution of the association in supporting the two nations' businesses, thus enhancing the bilateral trade and investment.

The PM suggested the DBAV and the Dutch business community promote the signing and realization of the EVFTA, accelerate more Dutch enterprises to exchange trade, investment and tourism with Viet Nam and organize more business delegations to Viet Nam to seek further cooperation.

The Vietnamese Government always creates favorable conditions and a fair ground for domestic and foreign investors, including ones from the Netherlands.

Leaders of the association committed to coordinating with the Dutch businesses to take advantages of opportunities brought by the EVFTA and upholding its role to connect the two sides' enterprises.
