– Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will join leaders of other ASEAN countries and China in a virtual special summit to commemorate 30 years of ASEAN-China ties on Monday.  

Participants will review bilateral cooperation over the past 30 years and work out new orientations for the coming years as the two sides upgraded their relations to Comprehensive Strategic Partnership at the annual ASEAN-China summit last month.

Vietnam and other ASEAN states and China have worked hard to promote political dialogue, mutual understanding, trust and respect, and enhance cooperation to make their relations a shining example of stable and sustainable partnership.

Vietnam and other ASEAN countries are moving toward the 2025 Community Vision and expand cooperation with China on the basis of the UN Charter, international law, and a win-win principle, contributing to peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and the world.
