President Nguyen Xuan Phuc has sent a letter calling for the improvement of work skills to help Vietnam develop sustainably. In a letter to mark Vietnam Labour Skills Day, October 4, President Phuc said the Vietnamese Party and State have always promoted stronger labour skills. He called for the development of a skilled workforce and encouraging young people to get vocational training.

President Phuc appealed to all workers nationwide to keep studying, developing their professional skills, and innovating to boost productivity and labor efficiency.

“At this time, we need to increase our efforts to work together to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic,” the letter said.
