President Macron says Vietnam is special in France’s policies

 

French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday affirmed the special position of Vietnam in his country’s policies and spoke highly of achievements in bilateral cooperation in all fields. 

Welcoming Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang who came to present his letter of credentials, President Macron welcomed the official visit to France this week by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, during which he will have a meeting with Mr. Chinh.

Ambassador Thang said Vietnam always attaches importance to and hopes to intensify its Strategic Partnership with France.

He pledged to do his utmost to nurture the time-honored relations between the two nations, contributing to boosting the bilateral friendship towards the celebration of the 50th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic ties, and the 10th anniversary of establishment of bilateral strategic partnership in 2023.
