President Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Monday visited outstanding teachers in Ho Chi Minh City on the occasion of Vietnam Teachers’ Day (November 20).

Visiting Trieu Thi Hue, who has taught literature at Nguyen Trai and Le Hong Phong High Schools for 26 years and has had many achievements in teaching and compiling education materials during her career, President Phuc praised her efforts and achievements. He said he hopes Hue will continue contributing to education in Ho Chi Minh city.

President Phuc then visited Associate Professor Dr. Ly Hoa, the first rector of the Ho Chi Minh City University. President Phuc said he hopes Dr. Hoa, with his long experience and deep knowledge, will continue contributing to the education sector.
