President receives foreign ambassadors’ letter of credentials

President Tran Dai Quang received Ambassadors of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Mozambique, and the Republic of Korea (RoK) who presented their letter of credentials on Thursday.

Welcoming UAE Ambassador Obaid Al Dhaheri, President Quang said Vietnam treasures its multifaceted cooperation with UAE and wants to raise two-way trade to 10 billion USD over the next few years. He said Vietnam is encouraging UAE investors to do business in renewable energy, hotel-tourism, infrastructure, aviation-sea ports, and real estate in the country.

Receiving Mozambican Ambassador Leonardo Pene, President Quang expressed his hope that the Ambassador will contribute to enhancing friendship and multi-faceted cooperation between Vietnam and Mozambique and other African countries. He said Vietnam wants to intensify its cooperation with Mozambique in in agriculture, transport, mining and education.

At his reception for RoK Ambassador Kim Do-hyun, President Quang said the strategic partnership between the two countries continue to flourish in many fields. He suggested that both sides step up high-level delegation exchanges to consolidate political trust so as to facilitate further cooperation.
