As millions of Vietnamese students began their new school year on Monday, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent a letter to the education sector, asking all administrators, teachers and staff to overcome difficulties, do their jobs well, and promote a sense of responsibility for the profession for the great cause of nurturing people. President Phuc applauded the theme chosen by the education sector this year: “Unity, creativity, and striving to fulfill the tasks and goals of innovation and improvement of the quality of education and training”.

He urges the whole society to join hands with the education sector, create a civilized, orderly, and exemplary society, form a good culture and social standards for children to study and follow examples, and build a learning environment accessible to all children.

He called on students to promote the nation’s studious tradition, absorb the intellectual essence of humanity, and contribute to building a richer and more prosperous country.
