President Tran Dai Quang meets world leaders at Francophone Summit

State President Tran Dai Quang has met head of states and representatives of many countries attending the ongoing 16th Francophone Summit in Madagascar.

In talks with French President Francoise Hollande, President Quang said Mr. Hollande's recent visit to Vietnam has created an impetus for the strategic partnership between the 2 countries. The French President praised Vietnam's important role and contributions to Francophony. President Tran Dai Quang also discussed ways to develop ties and cooperation between Vietnam and Senegal, Ivory Coast, Switzerland, Serbia, Chad, Cameroon and Mauritius. Topics for discussion ranged from agriculture to investment and trade.
