President Tran Dai Quang visits Cuba

State President Tran Dai Quang has begun a 3-day visit to Cuba at the invitation of Cuban President Raul Castro.

Since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1960, Vietnam-Cuba relations have developed in numerous fields and the two nations have supported each other at multilateral forums. President Tran Dai Quang's visit to Cuba reflects Vietnam's determination to enhance the bilateral relationship and comprehensive cooperation.

Following his Cuba visit, which concludes on Thursday, President Tran Dai Quang will attend the 24th High-level Week of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum in Lima, Peru.
