Quang Binh Province Ready to Welcome Tourists During Summer Peak

Quang Binh: The central province of Quang Binh has prepared optimal conditions to host visitors during the peak tourism season, eyeing 5.5-6 million tourist arrivals this year. Quang Binh currently has over 550 accommodation facilities with some 9,000 rooms, nearly 500 homestays, and nearly 3,000 food service businesses. Hotels and guesthouses in Phong Nha-Ke Bang town, Bo Trach district, and Dong Hoi city are already booked at about 90% capacity for the holiday period.

According to Vietnam News Agency, local authorities and businesses in Quang Binh have worked to ensure the readiness of tourist facilities and services to accommodate the expected influx of visitors. The province aims to attract more tourists by enhancing the quality of its services and facilities, particularly in its renowned natural attractions such as the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its limestone karst landscapes and extensive cave systems.

Efforts are also being made to promote safety and convenience for tourists, with local officials coordinating measures to manage the increased tourist traffic efficiently. The province's tourism sector is a significant contributor to its economy, and authorities are keen to leverage the summer season to boost local businesses and employment.

Quang Binh's tourism strategy includes diversifying its offerings to meet various interests and preferences, from adventure tourism to cultural experiences. The province is also focusing on sustainable tourism practices to preserve its natural and cultural assets for future generations.
