Quang Ngai inaugurates the provincial public administrative service Center

The Public Administrative Centre in Quang Ngai province was officially put into operation on January 4, 2019.

Director of the Administrative Procedure Control Department (Government Office) Ngo Hai Phan, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Quang, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Tran Ngoc Cang, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Council Vo Phien, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Dang Ngoc Dzung attended the ceremony.

The Centre, which is located at No.54 Hung Vuong Street, Quang Ngai city, will receive documents and give back results related to more than 1,000 administrative procedures as well as provide procedure guidance for organizations and individuals.

The Project of building the provincial Public Administrative Center was started construction on early 2018 with the total capital of VND 34 billion.

The Centre will create a professional and dynamic environment to deal with administrative procedures more swiftly and effectively as well as improve citizens' satisfaction with provincial public services.

From now, residents and businesses will no longer have to commute between different headquarters to complete paperwork, as their documents can now be submitted to representatives of all 16 department-level authorities inside the public administrative center.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee Dang Ngoc Dzung assessed that the Center has created a breakthrough in administrative procedure reform and modernizing the administration to boost investment attraction and contribute to socio-economic development in the province.

The Center will become a focal point for provincial-level professional agencies to receive and coordinate in the settlement of administrative procedures in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of handling administrative procedures of state agencies, he added.
