Jakarta: A red-carpet welcome ceremony was held at Merdeka Palace - the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on March 10 for General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee To Lam and his spouse Ngo Phuong Ly, who are on a state visit to Indonesia at the invitation of Indonesian President and President of the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) Prabowo Subianto.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the ceremony marked a significant diplomatic event as To Lam's visit aims to strengthen the relationship between Vietnam and Indonesia. The visit underscores the mutual commitment of both nations to enhance bilateral cooperation in various sectors, including trade, defense, and cultural exchanges.
