The Trade Ministry of the Republic of Korea has announced that it will hold a second meeting of a government-civilian panel to discuss winning major projects from the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam on Friday.
Representatives from the trade, infrastructure and fisheries ministries will take part in the meeting to review the progress of ongoing projects and discuss support measures for projects to be awarded to Korean companies by next year, the Yonhap news reported. The trade ministry will focus on supporting the working group on investment and development of coal and road infrastructure in Vietnam and inviting senior-level officials from the UAE and Vietnam. The infrastructure ministry is due to launch an agency at the end of this month to explore new projects, including airports and smart transportation systems.
