Russia rejects Dutch findings about M7 crash

The Russian Defense Ministry said Thursday that Russia's military had nothing to do with the downing of Malaysia's M7 airplane in 2014, Russia's TASS news agency reported, adding that no missile crossed the Russia-Ukraine border.

Russia asked investigators not to believe unreliable sources on social networks or in the Ukrainian army, but to trust testimony from witnesses, who said that the missile that downed M7 came from Ukraine-controlled territory.

The investigation team formed by the Netherlands, Australia, Malaysia, Belgium, and Ukraine says the missile that hit M7 belonged to Russia's Brigade 53 in Kursk.
