Self-quarantine allowed for fully vaccinated people in close contact with COVID-19 patient

People who have been in close contact with COVID-19 patients, or F1 cases, are allowed to self-quarantine at home for seven days if they have been fully vaccinated, or have recovered from the disease in the last six months, the Health Ministry announced on Thursday. They are also required to self-monitor their health for the following seven days, according to the Ministry’s latest guidance.

During the self-quarantine period, F1 cases must strictly disease prevention measures. They must take a PCR test twice, on the first and seventh day of the quarantine period.

Previously, F1 cases had to spend 14 days in a dedicated quarantine facility, and 14 more days of self-quarantine at home.
