The US envoy negotiating with the Taliban hailed "significant progress" Saturday in finding a solution to end Afghanistan's long-running war.

He added that any deal would include talks between the Taliban and the Afghan government.
Taliban negotiators and United States officials meeting in Qatar finalized a draft agreement to end the 17-year-old Afghan war.
