Southeast Asia-Japan youth ship leaves HCMC for Japan

The 45th Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Programme (SSEAYP) left Cat Lai port in Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday, bound to reach Japan next Thursday.

This year's program, from October 23 to December 13, has visited Brunei, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. The program teaches leadership skills and encourages youth development. Participants engage in lively discussions of social issues and take part in cultural exchanges, sports, and recreational activities. During their stay in HCMC early this month, the young delegates met with local youth, stayed in locals' homes and visited Cu Chi tunnel and the War Remnants Museum.
