Spokeswoman: Vietnam concerned about DPRK’s missile launch

Vietnam is deeply concerned about the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK)'s launch of Hwasong-14 intercontinental ballistic missile on July 4, which seriously violated relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and increases tension in the region.

In response to reporters' questions on Vietnam's reaction to the DPRK's launch of intercontinental ballistic missile, Foreign Ministry's Spokeswoman Le Thi Thu Hang said on Thursday that Vietnam consistently supports all efforts to promote dialogues and maintain peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula. She said Vietnam calls on all parties to strictly abide by relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council and have constructive, practical actions to contribute to the maintenance of peace, security and stability in the region and the world.
