State enterprise reform sees good progress: Deputy PM
State-owned enterprises' revenue in the first 8 months of 2018 reached 70% of the year's target, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue said at a conference in Hanoi on Wednesday on improving state-owned enterprises' performance.
Mr. Hue said positive results have been achieved in reforming and equitizing state-owned businesses. He urged enterprises to review their progress and address problems.
The conference was chaired by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and attended by Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung, ministry leaders, and representatives of local and foreign companies.
