Government House, "Sutin" declares that on September 15, the military reshuffle will be completed, not conflicting with the same generation of military commanders. He sees the position of army commander as not affecting future politics. He insists that "Thaksin" is not involved with the military and is more interested in the people's livelihoods. Mr. Sutin Khlangsaeng, Minister of Defense, said about the meeting of the Defense Council with the commanders of the armed forces that today will emphasize the framework and principles for making the annual military transfer list for 2024, which he understands there is still time. After today's discussion, all armed forces will proceed. For important positions such as the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army and Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy, they must listen to various opinions from people in the military about who to accept, including opinions from former members, their achievements, skills, knowledge, and abilities. However, it is accepted that generation is part of the consideration, but not the main issue. As for the meeting of the military transfer board, will it have to reach a vote? Mr. Sutin said that if they cannot agree, then a vote will have to be held. However, he knows that there has never been a vote in the past. There was no vote for the transfers in April. As for whether the phenomenon of military transfers will occur or not, he does not know. However, he admits that this is the first major transfer in his capacity as the Minister of Defense. However, he is not worried and believes that it will be easier than other ministries. He also believes that this transfer will be self-administered to the point of having to vote. He confirmed that the transfer list will be made well by adhering to the principle of fairness. When asked whether the political side needs to consider important positions or will follow or adhere to what the commanders of the armed forces have proposed, Mr. Sutin said that he will listen to both the top, middle and bo ttom levels. The bottom level is the junior level in the armed forces, the middle level is the people who will be on the same level, and the top level is the political side, including other ministries, departments and agencies that will work together with the military. As for the appointment of the commanders of the armed forces, should they all be soldiers of the 24th generation to create unity in working or not? I would like to emphasize that the generation is not the first and main issue. We look at the knowledge, ability, and acceptance in the army. As for whether it coincidentally matches any generation, it doesn't matter. Or if it coincidentally matches all the same generation, we have to accept it. And as for the impact on the political side, in the past it may have had an impact, but in the future I think it will not have an impact because the current political atmosphere has changed. The military will not interfere anymore. And if they do not interfere, it will not have an impact. And the person who will hold the position of commander of the army must be accepted by the army, which will create unity and ensure that there will be no interference from the political side. When asked if former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra had given any advice on the military, Mr. Sutin replied, 'No, he doesn't interfere and prioritizes the economy and the people's livelihoods.' When asked about concerns about internal ripples within the army because some people are successful and some are disappointed, Mr. Sutin said he was not worried because there was no special agenda and he believed that there would be nothing. The army also has an organizational culture, which is a strength. The list of soldiers has been set to be submitted no later than August 15 and must be completed before September 15.
