Thai firm values long-term support from Vietnamese Government

Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung said the Vietnam-Thailand strategic partnership is thriving in all fields, particularly trade and investment, adding that the operation of Amata in Vietnam has significantly contributed to bilateral ties.

At a meeting on Thursday with Vikrom Kromadit, Chairman of the Thai-based industrial estates group, he urged the corporation to work to further improve the local construction sector, particularly the building of industrial parks. Dung said the Vietnamese government always encourages foreign companies, including those from Thailand, to seek partnerships, and operate and expand their business in Vietnam. Vikrom Kromadit thanked the Vietnamese government for creating favorable conditions for Amata to operate in Vietnam for more than 20 years. He revealed the corporation's intention to build smart cities and high-tech industrial parks in Vietnam.
