The Vietnam Veterans Association visited the Dien Bien Phu battlefield

On the 67th anniversary of the historic Dien Bien Phu victory , on the holiday of April 30 to May 1, the Vietnam News Agency Veterans Association made a trip back to the source, visiting Dien Bien Phu battlefield.

The Vietnam News Agency Veterans Association with nearly 30 members representing 12 branches with many achievements in association work led by Mr. Nguyen Do Cuong, Member of Central Executive Committee of Vietnam Veterans Association The President of the Vietnam News Agency Veterans Association , as the team leader, visited the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield sites such as the Dien Bien Phu Campaign Command, A1 Hill, and De Castries Tunnel .

In the framework of source activities, the delegation has come to place wreaths, offer incense to commemorate heroes and martyrs at Martyrs Cemetery (Dien Bien Phu city); expressing deep gratitude and gratitude to heroes of martyrs – excellent children of the nation who have devoted their green age, bravely fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation, making up the victory of Dien Bien Phu.

The delegation also came to offer incense to commemorate General Vo Nguyen Giap, one of the outstanding students of President Ho Chi Minh, the oldest brother of the People’s Army of Vietnam, the Commander of the Army, directly in charge.
