Thidaporn Advances to Final Eight in BMA ROZA YONEX TIP Open Championship 2024.

Bangkok: Thidaporn Kleep Yisun, the top seed in the general women's singles category, has successfully advanced to the final eight of the BMA ROZA YONEX TIP OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP 2024. The event, which is being held at the Vessana 1 Sports Building, Bangkok Youth Center (Thai-Japan), features competitors vying for the Royal Trophy of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and the trophy of Dr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok. The tournament is scheduled from November 1 to 6, 2024, and is now on its third day of competition. According to Thai News Agency, the competition has seen notable matches across various categories. In the men's singles for 9-year-olds, Narawit Traiphunburana from JP Academy, ranked 5th, claimed victory against Phichitphon Piphatthanabodee from Baan Thongyod with scores of 21-15 and 21-16. Similarly, Pannawit Chaturongkwanich from Pachara, ranked 7th, defeated Dolthee Euafue of 15 Courts Badminton in two sets, 21-17 and 21-11. In the women's singles for the 9-year-olds, Wawwa Jenjitranon from JP Academy, ranked 4th, triumphed over Pawarisa Thirawutthikamthorn also from Baan Thongyod, winning 21-9 and 21-1. In the men's doubles 11-year-olds category, Phachara Wongklam and Chanut Sriprachan from Laohajit By Spirit Lamphun/Pathum Thani Badminton Association defeated their opponents Nattacha Nakhawichet and Thanaphop Udomkanchanakun from T Thailand/Mae Sot Badminton with scores of 22-20 and 21-16. Meanwhile, in mixed doubles for the 11-year-olds, Thatchadham Moeprasert Worasuphap and Jiratchaya Wattanasansuk from Pathum Thani Badminton Association won against Phachara Chueathong and Chotika Sakulpak from Spirit by Maneepong/CR Badminton with scores of 21-11 and 21-16. The tournament also reported results in older age groups, including the men's singles 13-year-old category, where Techapat Sim-yindee from Polsana Badminton, the top seed, defeated Suthirat Sutharangsi from Sena Sport Station with scores of 21-7 and 21-12. In the women's singles 13-year-olds, Pitchnida Pipatthana bodee from Banthongyod, ranked 5th, defeated Nithikan Isarothaikul from T Thailand in a match that ended with scores of 21-19 and 21-7. The men's doubles 13-year-olds saw Win Sirima and Kantham Muanglue from V WiN Chonburi winning against Chitpat Tonwong and Achawin Pue-on from SARAPAT racket club with scores of 21-3 and 21-1. The competition's fourth day is set to begin tomorrow, November 4, at 9:00 a.m. Badminton fans are welcome to watch the matches for free at the venue.
