-National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue asked the Vietnamese Embassy in the Philippines to set up a Vietnamese expat community there next year.  During his visit to the Embassy on Thursday, part of his first official trip to the Philippines since he took office last year, Mr. Hue briefed the Embassy staff on his meetings with Philippines leaders, and his attendance at a trade and investment forum.

According to Mr. Hue, President Ferdinand Marcos and President of the Philippine Senate Juan Miguel Zubiri said they will visit Vietnam next year.
