Trade deficit with China exceeds US$5 billion in two months

VGP – Viet Nam’s imports from China reached US$7.482 billion over the first two months of 2015, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The figure included US$4.482 billion in January and US$3 billion in February.

Meanwhile, the country earned US$997 million from exports to China in February, bringing the total figure in the first two months to US$2.312 billion.

As a result, the country ran a trade deficit of US$5.17 billion with China in two months, US$2.8 billion more than the figure recorded in the same period last year.
