Turkey’s nightclub attack suspect arrested

Police in Istanbul have arrested a suspect in the deadly New Year's Eve attack on the Reina nightclub, according to Turkish news media.

The suspected shooter was arrested while he was with his 4-year-old son in an apartment in Istanbul during a massive police operation late on Monday.

39 people were killed while celebrating the New Year at the Reina night club. 11 of them were Turkish and 27 foreigners. The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack, saying it was revenge for Turkish military involvement in Syria.
