Two Koreas resume military connection

The South Korean Defense Ministry said Wednesday that Seoul and Pyongyang have resumed their military communication line on the eastern side of the Korean peninsula, a result of the two countries' high-level military meeting in June, the first in more than a decade.

The Ministry added that this is part of the implementation of April's Panmunjom Declaration and the two Koreas are doing a great deal to ease tensions, rebuild trust, and share a commitment to weapons control.
