UK Parliament’s Brexit vote to be delayed

British Prime Minister Theresa May on Sunday again pushed back the deadline for Parliament to vote on her Brexit deal.

Mrs. May said she will not bring her new exit deal to the House of Commons for a vote this week, but instead, is asking members of Parliament to give her more time to negotiate, promising they will have a vote by March 12. On her way to an EU-Arab League summit in Egypt, Prime Minister May said the postponement does not solve the problem. According to her, it will soon be time for Parliament to decide whether to accept the agreement.

Mrs. May will negotiate with EU leaders on the sidelines of the Sharm el-Sheikh conference in Egypt, but her negotiating team will return to Brussels on Tuesday.
