UK Prime Minister and Brexit Party leader at odds

Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage will not stand in the UK election on December 12, choosing instead to campaign against Prime Minister Boris Johnson's Brexit deal.

Speaking to the media on Sunday, Farage said that instead of trying to get himself a seat in Parliament he will traverse the length of the UK supporting 600 other candidates. Farage offered Johnson an ultimatum: drop his Withdrawal Agreement and form a Leave Alliance or face competition from the Brexit Party for every seat in Britain. Farage says forming a Leave Alliance and ensuring the alliance wins a majority of seats in the upcoming election is the only way to achieve Brexit.

Johnson says he not taking Britain out of the EU on October 31 was a matter of deep regret, but, insists his Brexit deal is still the only way to take Britain out of the EU.
