Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelensky, confirmed that he had a meeting with US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in Kyiv on Sunday, adding the US is the leader in strong support for Ukraine in the fight against Russia.

This is the second high-level US delegation to Kyiv, following a visit in late April by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

Most recent high-level visits by Western leaders to Ukraine were kept secret until the last minute, only being announced after the event had already taken place or the delegation had arrived.
