US seeks master plan to handle North Korea’s nuclear program

The United States wants a deal with North Korea on a "big picture" roadmap to get rid of its nuclear and missile programs, said South Korean Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha on Monday.

She said the US wants to start a full-fledged denuclearization with a comprehensive roadmap to all of North Korea's nuclear and missile facilities and capabilities. The US stance is that it will lift sanctions on Pyongyang once complete denuclearization is achieved.
