Vietnam administers 16 million COVID-19 vaccine doses to children aged 12-17

 

– From 4pm on Tuesday to 4pm on Wednesday, Vietnam recorded 15,954 new cases of COVID-19, of which 69 were imported and 15,885 were recorded domestically in 61 out of 63 provinces and cities. Vietnam currently has a total of 2,187,481 COVID-19 cases.

On Wednesday, 20,540 patients were given the all clear, raising the total number of recoveries to 1,924,609. In the past 24 hours, there were 155 deaths.

The Ministry of Health said Vietnam has received a total of 211.9 million COVID-19 vaccine doses. By Wednesday afternoon, the country had administered nearly 179 million doses. 49 provinces and cities have had the 2nd dose coverage rate of above 90%. Nearly 16 million doses have been administered to children aged 12-17.
