Hanoi: The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) and the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) have taken a significant step toward enhancing their aviation safety monitoring capabilities. On April 9, both parties signed Appendix VI to their existing technical cooperation agreement. This document outlines comprehensive bilateral cooperation in areas such as strategic planning, monitoring systems, national aviation safety programs, and technical training.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the signing ceremony was attended by French Ambassador to Vietnam Olivier Brochet and Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Construction Le Anh Tuan. This collaboration aims to leverage the strengths of both nations in aviation safety, ensuring robust monitoring systems and effective strategic planning in the aviation sector. Both authorities are committed to implementing national aviation safety programs and providing technical training to strengthen their respective capacities.
