Vietnam attaches special importance to defense cooperation with Singapore and Japan

PANO A high-ranking delegation of the Vietnam People's Army, headed by Senior Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang, Chief of the General Staff and Deputy Defense Minister, paid official visits to Singapore and Japan from February 28 to March 5.

The visits have shown that Vietnam has attached much importance to defense relations with Singapore and Japan. The visits have also contributed to enhancing friendship, mutual understanding and mutual trust between Vietnam and the two countries, for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
