A Vietnamese delegation led by Don Tuan Phong, Deputy Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Vietnam’s National Assembly, is attending the Pre-COP26 Parliamentary Meeting in Italy.

Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio told the opening session on Friday that the fight against climate change can not be delayed. Stressing the importance of international forums, he urged countries to act immediately and together.

The COP26, chaired by Italy and the UK, will be held in November in Glasgow, the UK. World leaders will discuss ways to promote the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, which was signed in 2015. It will be an opportunity for countries to propose detailed plans to cope with an unprecedented climate crisis.
