Vietnam, Cambodia hold high-level talks on NA cooperation

During his official visit to Cambodia, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue held talks with President of the Cambodian National Assembly Samdech Heng Samrin on Saturday.

 

The two leaders highly appreciated the results of cooperation between two countries’ National Assembly in recent years and emphasized the importance of strengthening parliamentary cooperation on both bilateral and multilateral levels. They agreed to create conditions for the organization of the Friendship Parliamentary Group Meeting in Central Vietnam in December 2022 to exchange and share experiences in economics and finance.

 

The two sides will coordinate to supervise and urge the implementation of international treaties and bilateral and multilateral agreements to which they have signed or are members.

 

After the talks, the two top legislators signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the National Assembly of Vietnam and the National Assembly of Cambodia and witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Secretariat of the National Assembly of Vietnam and the Secretariat of the National Assembly of Cambodia.
