Vietnam, Cambodia pledge to further bilateral ties

Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni hosted a state banquet in honor of visiting Vietnamese Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong in Phnom Penh on Monday. The Cambodian King expressed his belief that Party leader and President Nguyen Phu Trong's visit will help boost bilateral friendship and cooperation. "Vietnam and Cambodia are good neighbors whose people have always supported each other. The traditional relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia has become a sacred symbol and valuable asset of the two countries. Vietnam and Cambodia must overcome all obstacles and push their bilateral ties forward for their common prosperity," Mr. Trong noted.
