Vietnam Card Day aims at digital transformation of banking sector

 The 2nd Vietnam Card Day aimed at digital transformation in the banking sector and achieving the goals of national digital transformation by 2025 will begin on April 16, said an official of the State Bank of Vietnam. Le Anh Dung, Deputy Director of the Payment Department at the State Bank of Vietnam, told a press conference on Wednesday that the Vietnam Card Day 2022 will advocate the Government policy of promoting non-cash payments.

The activity conveys a positive message, inspires Vietnamese young people to adopt a dynamic digital lifestyle, seize opportunities, discover and experience new payment technologies, he said.

The Vietnam Card Day event will open with the shopping festival on April 16 at Bach Khoa Stadium, Hanoi, where consumers will experience modern payment methods such as contactless cards, QR code payments, e-wallets, mobile payments, and electronic customer identification technology.
