Vietnam-China international trade fair opens

The Vietnam-China international trade fair opened in the northern border province of Lang Son on Wednesday, an annual event held alternatively between Lang Son of Vietnam and Pingxiang of China. Addressing the fair, Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Dang Hoang An said Vietnam and China have maintained and developed economic activities.

“The 7th trade fair in Lang Son is taking place in a very special context, on the occasion of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong’s successful official visit to China. This will certainly be an event that contributes to harmonizing and deepening bilateral relations in general, as well as trade relations between the two countries in particular,” he added.

This year’s fair has attracted more than 100 businesses from both Vietnam and China to showcase their products across 260 pavilions. Economic contracts are expected to be signed at the event that is scheduled to last through to next Wednesday.
