Vietnam, Czech Republic have great cooperation potential: Minister of Industry and Trade

Vietnam and the Czech Republic should create further conditions for the Czech-Vietnamese community to do business and develop in both countries, said Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien. At a meeting with his Czech counterpart Jozef Sileka in Hanoi on Monday, Minister Dien said there is great potential for cooperation between Vietnam and the Czech Republic.

In order to promote trade relations, both countries should exploit the Intergovernmental Committee on Economic Cooperation, EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement, and the EU-Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement.

He called for further support for enterprises of the two countries to access market information, and join trade promotion events towards cooperation agreements in energy and mining.

The Czech Minister said that his country wants the two countries to further strengthen cooperation in the fields of trade, industry, and investment, particularly in auto manufacturing, energy, mining and minerals, transportation, and petrochemicals.
