Vietnam, Italy further trade relations

Speaking at the event , Vietnamese Ambassador to Italy Nguyen Thi Bich Hue  said despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the two-way trade turnover between Vietnam and Italy reached 5.6 billion USD, of which Vietnam’s export to Italy was 3.8 billion USD, up 22%, import was 1.8 billion USD, up 19%. Hue attributed the result to the implementation of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA).

Representative of the ASSOEVI advisory board, Mr. Pham Van Hong shared that ASSOEVI is a place that creates many business opportunities and bridges the gap between the two countries. At the event, delegates exchanged views on ways to increase links between businesses of the two countries.
